part-time mobile PET/CT scanner is a better short-term solution than a
fixed-site, because the current volume may not be high enough to rationalize
one. The part-time mobile approach offers flexibility and minimizes the losses
and risks associated with a fixed-site or full-time scanner until volume reaches
a profitable level. In addition, it greatly improves the current level of
service. Local competitors may be growing or planning to grow at your expense
because referring physicians are demanding more frequent service and want the
PET/CT technology. RCOA offers a two-phased service solution:
RCOA will provide your facility with a mobile PET/CT scanner one or more days
per week depending on your needs. The coach would be used at your facility
and/or any other location as you deem necessary. As volume and demand grows so
do our services. We offer the ability to increase or decrease the service days
in a flexible and economical manner to fulfill your medical community.
When the scan volume reaches a pre-determined annual run rate, RCOA would
provide a fixed-site scanner to your facility or a full-time mobile scanner.
With this approach, it enables us to bring the latest technology to the market,
increase the service level in the community, build the scan volume without the
full financial burden of a dedicated PET/CT scanner, and position ourselves to
compete with anyone in the future together.
